There are 5 members, my father, my mother, my elder brother, my younger sister and I. How about you?

Do you have any plan for this weekend?
ジョン：空いてるよ。どこかに行きたいんだけど。
I have no plans,but I want to go somewhere though.
洋 子：いっしょにチボリ公園に行ってみない？
Why don’t we go to Tivoli park?
ジョン：いいねえ。天気予報だと晴れるみたいだよ。
That sounds good. According to the weather forecast it will be fine this weekend.

ジョン：うーん、松井選手も入ったし、ヤンキースかな？
Well, it is probably Yankees ,especially since Mr. Matsui has joined the team.
7 貸してもらえませんか？
ジョン：今日はアメリカの友達の誕生日なんだ。
Today is my friend’s birthday. He lives in the United States.
洋 子：何かしてあげるの？
Do you plan to do something for him?
ジョン：メールでバースデーカードを送ろうと思うんだ。よかったら、パソコン貸してもらえる？
I want to send him a birthday card by e-mail. May I use your computer ?
洋 子：いいよ。写真を撮ってあげるから、添付すれば。
Yes, of course. I'll take a picture for you then you can attach it to the card.
８ お風呂に入る
洋 子：お風呂の用意ができたので、入ってください。
The bath is ready. Please take a bath before us
ジョン：入り方を教えてよ。
How do I take a bath?
洋 子：外で洗ってから湯舟に入り、ゆっくりします。
First you wash yourself using soap outside of the tub and then you get into the bath and relax in it.
出る時にお湯は流さないでね。次に入る人も同じ湯に入ります。
Don’t drain the hot water in the tub when you are finished. All of us will use the same hot water.

９ 布団を敷く
ジョン：少し疲れたので、早めに休みたいんだけど。
I’m a little tired. Can I go to bed early?
洋 子：わかったわ。布団を敷いてあげるわ。ここに枕を置いて寝るんだけど、大丈夫？
OK. I'll put a futon down on the tatami for you. We put a pillow here and sleep. Is this OK ?
ジョン：はい、ぐっすり眠れそうです。
Yes thank you. I think I will sleep well tonight.
洋 子：じゃあ、おやすみ。
Good night ,then.
ジョン：おやすみ。

１０ 食事に誘う
洋 子：そろそろお昼です。おなかがすきませんか？ いっしょに食事に行かない？
It’s around noon. Are you hungry? Shall we go out for lunch?
ジョン：いいねえ！ 僕もそう思っていたところだよ。
That’s a good idea. I was thinking the same thing.
洋 子：この先においしいうどん屋があるんだけど、行ってみない？
There is a nice Udon restaurant down the street. Shall we go there?
ジョン：いいね。うどんを食べるのは初めてなんで、楽しみだなあ。
Sounds good. I’m excited. This is the first time for me to have Udon.
